Hello dear Readers, I hope you all are fine!
I helped
a 16 years old girl called Savita yesterday. I received a call from a
friend working in electronic media about a girl roaming by herself
around the Railway station of Jodhpur. We went from Sambhali Trust and
helped her find safe refuge
. She was
brought to Jodhpur by a "job placement agency based in Delhi" for being a
domestic labor from Jharkhand (East of India). She was not treated well
at this house she worked at and decided after a month to run away from
there. By the recommendation of Child welfare committee we helped her
get to the shelter home from the department of Social Justice and
Empowerment.
Visitors:
Group
of 18 people coming from three different organizations on their
exposure trip of four days to India and visited Sambhali Trust's urban
and rural projects.
Our Dear
supporters of Sambhali Trust, we need your generous help to survive and
sustain. Without your support and contribution we are not able to
continue our projects. Please help us and help us share the link on your
walls which will help spread the word women and girls empowerment.
