Volunteering never gets old, even if you do!
Here at Sambhali we’re all about opportunities for everyone,
whatever your age, background or field of expertise. We’re always looking for
volunteers and we’d love to hear from you if you’re 50 + and looking to give
back while immersing yourself in the colourful culture of India.
Our volunteers range from ages 18 – 80, all from different walks of life, with a variety of skills and experience to offer. From keen knitters, fab teachers or anything in-between, we’d love to hear from you!
“Last year I was on a guided tour of India and we visited the Sambhali Trust. I was impressed by the work that they were doing for disadvantaged women that I decided to return. I am recently retired and I wanted to give my time to a worthwhile organisation that needed my help.” - Barbara
Barbara, one of our volunteers.
Forget overnight trains and staying in a different bed every
night; to really experience India you need to immerse yourself in its people,
culture and food, and Sambhali is the perfect place to do it! Located in
Jodhpur, there’s plenty of rich history and cultural hotspots surrounding us
that are only a daytrip away. Feeling adventurous? Udaipur, Pushkar and Jaiselmer
are the perfect choice for a weekend away.

Lynda, a volunteer from Canada.
